Hace 6 días · The third street on the right is Greene Street, where Leon Russell, Carl Radle, Jesse Ed Davis and Jim Keltner have probably just finished recording the basic tracks that will become “Watching The River Flow” and “When I Paint My Masterpiece” a little later. Pure speculation, of course, but it really doesn’t sound too insane.

27 de mar. de 2024 · It was Leon. And as it turns out a few of his band mates were guys that would also eventually make there own mark on the scene. David Gates, the leader and main songwriter of Bread on Guitar, and Carl Radle who would become the powerhouse bass player in Derek and the Dominos.
