Cardinal Spellman High School accepts financial aid provided through parents’/guardians’ private companies and organizations. Spellman participates in the Inner-City Scholarship Fund and Be a Student Friend. Cardinal Spellman will accept additional financial aid available through programs of the Archdiocese of New York.

Cardinal Spellman High School's basic tuition rate for the 2023 - 2024 academic year is $17,700. We also offer need-based financial aid and merit scholarships for those who qualify. To be considered for tuition aid, families must file a Grant & Aid Assessment Application each year.
He graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 2010 and then went on to Canisius College, a Buffalo, New York-based Catholic school that had abolished its football program in 2003. Manhertz played for the Canisius Golden Griffins men's basketball squad from 2010 to 2014, where he was a standout player and three-year captain for the squad.
