  5. Geography. Camden School For Girls has a long and proud tradition in Geography. Alumnus Eva Germaine Rimington Taylor (1879–1966) was the first woman to hold an Academic Chair of Geography in the United Kingdom. From 1908 to 1910 she acted as research assistant to A J Herbertson, head of the Oxford Geography School.
