6 de may. de 2024 · Mitski’s “Bury Me At Makeout Creek” notably lasted an entire week before I had to switch over to something new. Having “Last Words of a Shooting Star” as the final song of the album is a soul-crushing listening experience, though, as the song’s morbid lyrics and melancholic sound put me into a spell every time.

22 de abr. de 2024 · If you were recommending mitski to a friend which album or song would you choose? I think i'd pick Bury Me At Makeout Creek. Be the Cowboy has an accessible sound and some of her biggest songs (Washing Machine Heart, Nobody). I'd go with that.

For the most part a pretty great blend of beauty and abrasion. Definitely trails off pretty noticeably in the second half but fuck it we ball.

It’s the first thing I listen to in the morning and I listen to it throughout the day and the songs in that album make me feel so much emotion.
