Bronski Beat waren eine britische Synthie-Pop-Gruppe der 1980er Jahre. Sie bestand aus Steve Bronski und Larry Steinbachek, die für Keyboard und Perkussion zuständig waren, und dem Sänger Jimmy Somerville aus Greenock, Schottland.Alle Mitglieder des Trios waren offen schwul, was sich in ihren Liedern widerspiegelte, die oft politische Kommentare zu homosexuellen Themen enthielten.
