Broken China è il terzo ed ultimo album solista del tastierista dei Pink Floyd Richard Wright. Uscito con la firma di “Rick Wright” il 26 novembre 1996 in Gran Bretagna, fu realizzato con la partecipazione di alcuni nomi noti del panorama rock: Pino Palladino al basso, Tim Renwick (già in tour con i Pink Floyd) e Dominic Miller alle chitarre, Sinead O'Connor voce, Manu Katche alla batteria.
"Broken China" is a four-part song cycle, dealing with the theme of surviving depression. Wright cites a close personal friend who was battling depression as the work's inspiration. That "friend" has been rumored to be his wife. The album's cover art was the work, in part, of Storm Thorgerson, who had orchestrated many Floyd album covers before.
