Biografía. Aunque llamado como su guitarrista, los Brinsley Schwarz eran un grupo en toda regla liderado más que por Brinsley (nacido el 25 de marzo de 1947), por el cantante y bajista Nick Lowe (nacido el 24 de marzo del año 1949). Junto a Schwarz y Lowe se encontraban el teclista Bob Andrews (nacido el 20 de junio de 1949) y el bateria Billy Rinkin (nacido el 23 de marzo de 1951).

Between 1971 and 1974, Brinsley Schwarz toured England innumerable times, playing pubs across the country, establishing a circuit for similar bands like Dr. Feelgood and Ducks Deluxe to follow. Though the group was nominally guitarist Brinsley Schwarz's band, bassist/lead vocalist Nick Lowe provided the bulk of the group's songs.
