If you love Marillion with Fish you don't need me to tell you that this combination produced some of the best rock of the 80's. Sadly they didn't and couldn't stay together and went their separate ways. If you don't really know Marillion with Fish this is a good album to get and a must have album if you love rock with real meaning to the lyrics.

Die zwei Studio-Tracks "Lady Nina" und "Freaks" auf Brief Encounter (die CD 2) sind schwer Prog-rockige, druckvolle Songs von höchster Eindringlichkeit. Sie kommen klanglich kraftvoller und wirken dadurch ziemlich konterkariert zu den darauf folgenden live gespielten Klassikern, die klanglich nicht ganz dazu und zur CD 1 "Real To Reel" aufschließen können.
