Brian Ray is an American musician, songwriter, and producer. He is best known for his work as a guitarist and bassist for Paul McCartney and Wings. He was born on 4 January 1955 in California. Ray began his career as a session musician in the early 1970s, playing on albums by artists such as Neil Young, Jackson Browne, and Linda Ronstadt.
