18 de abr. de 2019 · Bryan Migdol in the '70s. In the debut installment of his A Hardcore Conversation, new No Echo contributor Anthony Allen Begnal connects the dots between Black Flag, Ratt and Charles Manson. Bryan Migdol was the first drummer in Black Flag and here’s a bit of his story.
Bryan Migdol. Bryan Migdol (aka Brian Migdol) was recruited from amongst Morris' friends in early 1977 to serve as the drummer for Panic (the band that was the precursor to Black Flag). He performed at Panic's early shows and was developmental in the arrangement of many of the songs which would later be recorded by Black Flag.
Chuck Dukowski, bassist of Würm, liked Ginn's band and eventually joined, forming a committed quartet with Ginn, Morris and drummer Brian Migdol. The band held their first performance in December 1977 in Redondo Beach, California .
