Since the early 1970s, the band has featured Brian Huggins, the band's lead vocalist, and front-man, Peter Butt, on Bass Guitar and vocals, With Dick Judd on drums/vocals, being replaced in 2013 by seasoned player and premier drums endorsee Stephane Booroff. Mark Forton joined the band in 2020 to present day.

In 1973 they were approached by their management to takeover the tours of Scandinavia as Edison Lighthouse. Brian has been fronting the band ever since. Together with the band, Edison have recorded around 25 songs including their latest 'Fun Fun Fun' with Demon records, currently at no.3 in the Heritage Charts, UK.
