Biografía. Brendan Cowell comenzó su carrera actoral en el teatro, estudiando en el National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Su primera aparición en el escenario fue en la producción de «Bed» en 1999. Su actuación fue aclamada por la crítica y le valió el premio Sydney Theatre Award al Mejor Actor.
