3 de abr. de 2024 · After a hiatus in the mid 2000s, the “classic” 1994 lineup reunited for another new studio album in 2011 and 2 years of solid touring, reacquainting audiences old and new with the band's timeless musical vision. 2014 saw a late 90s version of the band led by Gary Louris hitting the road to support the reissues of the 3 Jayhawks albums released from 1997-2003.
3 de abr. de 2024 · Combining the talents of singer-songwriters Gary Louris and Mark Olson, The Jayhawks released their major label debut, the acclaimed Hollywood Town Hall (1992) on the Def American label. This was followed by Tomorrow the Green Grass (1995), which produced the alternative radio hit single “Blue.”

The Jayhawks didn’t have an official website at the time so the old Jayhawks Fanpage (RIP) was listed instead. “Caught With a Smile on My Face” made a handful of live appearances in 2003, a one off in 2016 and has also been performed by Gary Louris on some of his livestreams in recent years.

Throughout their career, the band has released a long list of great albums, including Tomorrow the Green Grass and Hollywood Town Hall, not to mention solo albums by members Gary Louris and Mark Olson.
