The Screaming Jets are an Australian hard rock band formed in Newcastle, Australia, in 1989 by frontman Dave Gleeson (vocals), Paul Woseen (bass guitar), Grant Walmsley (guitar), Richard Lara (guitar), and Brad Heaney (drums).

After a US support slot with Def Leppard, Jimi Hocking replaced Richard Lara. The band’s self-titled third album was released in 1995.

The Screaming Jets are a hard rock group that formed in January 1989 in Newcastle with singer Dave Gleeson, drummer Brad Heaney, guitarist Richard Lara, guitarist Grant Walmsley and bass guitarist Paul Woseen. Their first performance was at a Newcastle pub in March.
