Imre Bródy. Imre Bródy (1891, Gyula, Hungary [1] –1944, Mühldorf) was a Hungarian physicist who invented in 1930 the krypton -filled fluorescent lamps (also known as the krypton electric bulb ), [2] with fellow-Hungarian inventors Emil Theisz, Ferenc Kőrösy and Tivadar Millner.

25 de abr. de 2024 · A nephew of the well-known writer Sándor Bródy, Imre Bródy was a student of Loránd, Báró (baron) Eötvös, at Budapest University (now Eötvös Loránd University). Bródy completed his doctoral thesis on the chemical constant of monatomic gases in 1917 and was appointed an assistant lecturer at Budapest University in 1919.
