As the lead singer and bassist of the legendary Irish rock band Thin Lizzy, Lynott wrote and recorded some of the greatest songs in rock history, including “The Boys Are Back In Town”, “Jailbreak”, and “Whiskey In The Jar”.

The members of Thin Lizzy were bassist and singer Phil Lynott, Drummer Brian Downey, guitarist Brian Robertson, and guitarist Scott Gorham.
