Bo' Selecta! is a British comedy franchise created by Leigh Francis that aired on Channel 4 from 2002-2006. In the show, Leigh impersonates and parodies several famous celebrities with Michael Jackson, Mel B and Craig David using latex masks often exaggerating their facial qualities. He presents the show under the guise of Avid Merrion, a Romanian stalker with a strange obsession with celebrites.
Bo' Selecta! celebrates the world of celebrity in unique style. Aided by a cuddly - and somewhat excitable - bear and a troupe of rubber-faced stars (from Craig David to Geri Halliwell, Gareth Gates to David Blaine), obsessive fan Avid Merrion hosts the show from the squalor of his bedroom.Each episode features a peculiar mix of celebrity stories, interviews and gossip.
In Bo' Selecta, Christina Aguilera is portrayed as a slut, in a reference to her song Dirrty. She speaks in a strong Liverpool accent and wears revealing clothes. She uses the phrase "I'm dead dirrttyyy" at the end of her segment. She first appeared in the second series, where she showed her "Crib" and launched her own video game.

The Bear is a fictional character who originated in the British adult sketch comedy, Bo' Selecta!.Played by Leigh Francis, he is a rude teddy bear who is a social outcast and engages in cursing and womanising.He likes berries and always wears black glasses. He had a sidekick, a squirrel named Steven, whom he had a love-hate relationship with.
