Glenn "The Voice of Rock" Hughes was contacted by Shrapnel Records main man Mike Varney and Ken Ciancimino, in September of 1992, regarding Hughes possible interest in recording a blues album. Hughes had been approached previously regarding such work, but never moved on the various offers.
