Hace 3 días · Early in his jazz career he played in big bands with the likes of Gene Krupa and Stan Kenton, before settling in Los Angeles, where throughout the 50s and 60s he played with everybody--recording in the studios with Anita O’Day, Billy Eckstine, Carmen McRae, June Christy, Ray Charles, Mel Tormé, and Sarah Vaughan, and playing live as a member of Howard Rumsey’s Lighthouse All-Stars.
