Billy Clanton is shot far too many times. In reality, he was only hit twice in the final volley. Once Billy was gunned down in the film, he was basically down for the count. The truth can be stranger than fiction, as Billy really hit the wall of the Harwood House, landed in a sitting position, and just kept shooting until he ran out of ammo.
