30 de jun. de 2022 · Bill Ward got sober in 1984. He’d left Black Sabbath for the second time the previous year, shortly after finishing recording the Ian Gillan-fronted Born Again album. Ward had been completely drink- and drug-free during those sessions, after struggling with alcohol and panic attacks during his time with Sabbath in the 70s.
However, Ward announced in August 2016 that he was quitting the soap, and his character was killed off in October 2016. Outside of acting, Ward is noted as a photographer. Ward also had a role in 2003 in BBC TV's EastEnders, in which he played the role of Mike Parker. He also has had roles in shows such as ITV's The Bill and Heartbeat.
