Once the song starts there’s some great dynamics where the first half of the verse is just Michael’s vocals, a simple root note bassline and Bill Rieflin’s steady kick drum. But after Michael sings the “at the end of the world” refrain, we get some abrasive electric guitars and a nasty bassline.
