William Edgar Oddie OBE (born 7 July 1941) [2] is an English actor, artist, birder, comedian, conservationist, musician, songwriter, television presenter and writer. He was a member of comedy trio The Goodies .
Bill Oddie is a British comedian and writer, best known for creating and starring in The Goodies (1970-1982). He has also appeared in Doctor Who, Married... with Children, and Jackanory, among other shows and movies.

William Edgar (Bill) Oddie OBE (born 7 July 1941) is a British comedian, actor, writer and television personality. Oddie was born in Rochdale, Lancashire and grew up in Birmingham. He read English Literature at Pembroke College, Cambridge where he gained an MA. He is most famous for his birdwatching and conservation work.
Bill Oddie is a writer and actor, known for The Goodies (1970), George and the Dragon (2004) and Doctor in the House (1969). He has been married to Laura Beaumont since 1983 and has one child. He was previously married to Jeanne M. Hart. He was awarded the OBE for his services to wildlife conservation in 2003.
