William MacCormick (born 15 April 1951) is an English bassist and vocalist. He is also a politician and author. Early life. He is the second son of Ewen and Olwen MacCormick who married in 1946 after serving together in the RAF. His older brother, Ian MacCormick (also known as the music journalist and writer Ian MacDonald) was born in 1948.
William Alan MacDonald MacCormick was born in 1951. He was educated first at a Primary School which nearly shared a wall with Brixton Prison, and later at Dulwich College, a large, expensive, and prestigious Public (read Private) School in South London.

Bill MacCormick (born 1951, London, England) is an English bassist and vocalist. He was a member of the band Quiet Sun with Phil Manzanera. He is a frequent collaborator with Brian Eno and Phil Manzanera. Brother of Ian MacDonald (5).
Written and recorded between 1975 and 77, with melodic and lyric contributions from the brothers MacCormick, Listen Now was eventually released in the autumn of 77 and accompanied by a tour of the UK.
