Bill Doggett was an American pianist and organist who played blues, swing, jazz and rock and roll music. He was a pioneer of rock and roll and worked with many artists, such as the Ink Spots, Johnny Otis and Ella Fitzgerald. He died from cancer in 1996 at age 80.
