Bruford was born on 17 May 1949 in Sevenoaks, Kent, the third child of Betty and John Bruford, a veterinary surgeon. He has a brother, John, and a sister, Jane. [5] He attended New Beacon School in Sevenoaks , followed by Tonbridge School in Tonbridge , a boarding school.
Back by public demand! Bill’s first book, ‘When in Doubt, Roll!’, was first published in 1988. It has been out of print for several years and during that time has climbed to dizzying heights of value on the second hand market, currently selling for a couple of hundred dollars.
