14 de mar. de 2010 · Kimberley Rew first came to the attention of the music world as a member of The Soft Boys from 1978-1980. His guitar play provided a good counterpoint to the group’s leader, Robyn Hitchcock. The Bible Of Bop catches Rew in between his work with The Soft Boys and Katrina and The Waves and, as such, reflects the styles of both.
3 de jun. de 2010 · Rew did, too, with the release of a well-regarded EP entitled The Bible of Bop which found him backed by members of The dB’s, and somewhere around of the new millennium, he would finally get around to following that EP up with a full-length album (Tunnel into Summer) that subsequently led to a semi-regular schedule of solo releases.
