The movie was the third highest-grossing film of 1987 (behind “Three Men and a Baby” and “Fatal Attraction”), and it helped to make “Shakedown” one of the defining songs of the 1980s.

26 de abr. de 2024 · For me, "Beverly Hills Cop 2" doesn't quite live up to its predecessor. You don't really need to say anything about Eddie Murphy. He's a very talented comedian and actor. I think he can really let off steam in this trilogy in particular. I actually thought the other actors were pretty good. The story is, of course, very undemanding.
