Nils Lofgren is one of rock's greatest foot soldiers. He's worked with so many people, and of course has been with the E Street Band for 25 years. His albums issued under his own name - and this CD is a compilation of tracks from those - have all featured flashes of brilliance but most tracks reflect his unfortunate lack of ability as a lyricist.
