Branford Marsalis (born August 26, 1960) is an American saxophonist, composer, and bandleader. While primarily known for his work in jazz as the leader of the Branford Marsalis Quartet, he also performs frequently as a soloist with classical ensembles and has led the group Buckshot LeFonque .

He composed "Kevin's Country," the closing theme music for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In 1995, he replaced Branford Marsalis as leader of the band. When NBC moved Leno's show from late night to prime time, Eubanks moved with the band to continue conducting music for the short-lived The Jay Leno Show.
Eubanks has performed in virtually every major venue around the globe and has appeared on more than 100 critically acclaimed recordings with such eminent artists as Art Blakey, Slide Hampton, Roy Haynes, Dave Holland, Branford Marsalis, and Dianne Reeves.
