20 de ago. de 2022 · Ben Carr, a fifth-year senior at Georgia Southern, won the U.S. Amateur after a 3 and 2 victory over Pepperdine's Derek Hitchner. He used a different ball marker for his late father, David, who passed away in 2019, and broke down in tears during a TV interview. He will play in the final match and the 2023 U.S. Open and Masters.
