Dasein, in the ontology and metaphysics of the German existentialist philosopher Martin Heidegger (1889–1976), the form of Being or existence of the human individual. Heidegger’s early masterpiece Sein und Zeit (1927; Being and Time), which addresses the question of the fundamental nature of Being.
Being in the World is a 2010 documentary film directed by Tao Ruspoli. The film is based on Martin Heidegger's philosophy and is inspired by Hubert Dreyfus. It features a number of prominent philosophers.

“Being-in-the-world” is intended to capture descriptively various dimensions of what it means for Dasein “to be”. But much more needs to be said, in the way of interpretation, about this description.
