The Moonglows were originally formed by Harvey Fuqua and Bobby Lester in 1951 as The Crazy Sounds, however, after meeting and signing with Alan Freed, he renamed the group The Moonglows, after his own nickname, "Moondog".The group went on to have success with singles like Sincerely / Tempting and See Saw / When I'm With You, and created some of the most beloved doo-wop singles of their era.
