Batman Returns is barely a batman movie. It's just a coat of Batman paint over a Tim Burton movie.

20 de feb. de 2023 · I've read many posters in here excited about Michael Keaton reprising his role as the caped crusader in the upcoming Flash movie and they seemed to have a soft spot for Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992). I somehow skipped these movies when I was a kid, so I watched both of them during the weekend and... these movies are weird, man.
3 de sept. de 2024 · What's funny when I first watched Batman Returns as a kid, it didn't seem campy. It actually seemed pretty gross, lol. At the time, '89 and Returns were sort of the "serious" Batman movies. Batman Forever was kinda this inbetween movie and Batman & Robin was considered total camp even when it first came out, lol.
11 de ago. de 2020 · While I agree with you that Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman is far more interesting than Kim Basinger as Vicki Vale (Catwoman is easily the best component of Returns), I feel that overall Returns is more bloated and slow (both metaphorically and literally lol) compared to 1989.
3 de sept. de 2024 · love it, love how weird the city is, i don't think his version of Gotham will ever be beaten. Anton Furst was just an absolute genius. It was so good they had him redo the Gotham skyline for the comics in an amazing story arc. Keep watching. It'll seem a masterpiece compared to what comes next.
7 de sept. de 2024 · Batman: Return of the Joker (NES) - This one was just amazing on the NES. It pushed that system to the limit. There was also a Genesis version, but I never played it. Batman Returns (SNES) - This was a great original beat em up by Konami. Adventures of Batman and Robin (Genesis/MD) - This one was a run and gun, very hard, but looked amazing.
