Regie führte erneut Tim Burton, die Hauptrolle spielte Michael Keaton.Er wurde mit Batman Forever (1995) und Batman & Robin (1997) fortgesetzt. Der Film startete am 16. Juli 1992 in den deutschen Kinos.
