When permitted, Bath School of Design offers fieldwork opportunities throughout the academic year. Work placements, industry links and internship Our students have worked with a range of organisations incuding: The Holburne Museum, New Designers, British Ceramics Biennial, Collect, Ceramic Art London, The Contemporary Craft Fair, and Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institute.
Then, in 2016, Bath Spa University approached Grimshaw to transform this former industrial building into its schools of art and design. It needed to be repurposed for its new function and, as importantly, upgraded to meet 21st century environmental standards. They took it on with enthusiasm and creativity: the result is beautiful.
