Barry Kerch was born August 7th in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Barry played his first drum at the age of 7. It was a snare and part a deal he made with his parents to perfect the basics of drumming before getting his first drum kit.
The original lineup was rounded out by drummer Barry Kerch, who was the seventh drummer the band had auditioned for the spot. The four worked together on creating demos, and submitted their work-in-progress material to Atlantic, who approved of the material and green-lighted a full-length album.
