Barry Edward Beckett (February 4, 1943 – June 10, 2009) was an American keyboardist, session musician, record producer, and studio founder.

15 de jun. de 2009 · Barry Beckett, a Muscle Shoals producer and keyboardist who worked with artists including Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Phish, passed away on June 10th following complications from a stroke in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He was 66. He was also part of Traffic's live band in 1973 and produced albums for Bob Dylan, Phish, Dire Straits and others.

He played on hit records for James and Bobby Purify, Joe Cocker, Rod Stewart, Bob Seger, and many others. He also co-produced albums for Delbert McClinton, Mary MacGregor, and Carlos Santana.
