Little Barrie is an English rock group consisting of Barrie Cadogan (vocals, guitar) and Lewis Wharton (bass, vocals). Virgil Howe contributed drums and vocals from 2007 until his death in 2017. Their sound has drawn from a mixture of influences including freakbeat, garage rock, UK R&B, neo-psychedelia, surf rock, krautrock, funk and rock and roll.
Little Barrie is a band that plays classic British rock, funk, soul and psych, led by guitarist Barrie Cadogan. He is also a session musician for Morrissey, Primal Scream, The The and more, and composed the theme for Better Call Saul.

Informed by a heady brew of R&B, blues, psych, rock ’n’ roll, garage, krautrock, soul and plenty more besides, he’s a guitarist of impeccable taste with a fleet-fingered, elastic style that always serves the song and never fails to impress.
In fact, London-based trio Little Barrie were the guilty parties. As we sit down in the band’s soon-to-be-vacated studio in the Chocolate Factory building in Wood Green, singer-guitarist Barrie Cadogan takes up the narrative… “Thomas Golubic got in touch with us, he was the music supervisor for the series,” Barrie explains.
A classic British power trio in the lineage of Cream and The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Little Barrie started off as a solo guise for guitar whizz Barrie Cadogan, using the nickname given to him aged 14 by a mate’s dad in Nottingham.
