Baria Qureshi: The way Oliver depicted my departure made me angry because he told it in a way that discredited my work and my contribution. It seemed like all the problems were on my shoulders and I was unable to work with the group.
The xx are an English indie rock band from Wandsworth, London, formed in 2005. [1] . The band consists of Romy Madley Croft (guitar, vocals), Oliver Sim (bass guitar, vocals), Jamie Smith, also known as Jamie xx (beats, MPC, record production), and formerly Baria Qureshi (keyboard, guitar).

The xx guitarist/keyboard player Baria Qureshi has left the band due to 'personal differences' and will not be replaced, according to band member Romy Madley Croft. The band will continue as a three-piece and will play live without her.

Qureshi quit the band last November, but the band say she is still part of their album and that they are shocked to be nominated for the award.
