16 de jun. de 2020 · Born in London's working-class Bethnal Green on 29 October 1946, Peter Allen Greenbaum’s early life echoed that of his fellow British Invaders.
He recorded two tracks for the album Juju with Bobby Tench's band Gass, followed by a solo single, one with Nigel Watson, sessions with B.B. King in London in 1971 and an uncredited appearance on Fleetwood Mac's Penguin LP in 1973, on the song "Night Watch".

29 de oct. de 2022 · As for Peter Green, he was one of the British guitarists that King’s work inspired, with him deeply ensconced in the efforts of the American bluesmen as a teenager. He formed Fleetwood Mac in 1967 alongside drummer Mick Fleetwood and guitarist Jeremy Spencer, with bassist John McVie entering the fold shortly after.
27 de jul. de 2020 · BB King said Peter had the sweetest tone he'd ever heard. "He was the only one that gave me the cold sweats." You'll see that quote a lot but it's absolutely the one that sums up why Peter Green is so important. Green was thrust into a competitive scene in mid-60s London.
