The design and installation of Current was funded by the Edwards Family. Spearheaded by Jeff Edwards who serves as chairman, chief executive officer, and president of Installed Building Products, as well as president of Edwards Companies, the Edwards Family’s investment represents the largest private contribution to public art in the history of Columbus.
Aminah's World. Combining traditional art materials with found objects and everyday materials such as buttons, cloth, leather, twigs, shells, and music box workings, Columbus, Ohio, artist Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson (1940-2015) created magical two- and three-dimensional works of art.
Otherworld is a 32,000-square-foot immersive art museum in Columbus. Explore over 40 scenes filled with large-scale art and mixed-reality playgrounds. It's an all-new kind of art experience where visitors are encouraged to freely explore and interact with a surreal world of science fiction and fantasy.
Aminah Robinson is represented in museums and galleries, including the Columbus Museum of Art, Akron Art Museum, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Studio Museum in Harlem, and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati. She passed away in May 2015.

In 2020, the Museum established the Aminah Robinson Legacy Project to encompass the myriad aspects of her life, proliferate awareness of her work, and place her in the pantheon of the most important twentieth and twenty-first-century American artists where she deservedly belongs.
