There is quite a bit of information about the production of both of these series online, but there doesn't appear to be a central website pulling everything together.

  7. 6 de may. de 2024 · When writing the original script Jimmy Perry wrote 'It's hard to imagine anyone other than Messrs Lowe, Le Mesurier, Laurie et al playing the roles', but Jimmy initially saw Arthur Lowe playing Sergeant Wilson and Robert Dorning, who later appeared as a bank inspector in the episode 'Something Nasty In The Vault' as Captain Mainwaring.
