Website. www.ccad.edu. Columbus College of Art & Design ( CCAD) is a private art school in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1879 as the Columbus Art School and is one of the oldest private art and design colleges in the United States.
CCAD was founded by five women who envisioned a place where artists could learn and grow from one another. And from that point forward we’ve worked to make that vision a reality. OUR HISTORY. Youth & Community Learning is proud to offer over 20 unique classes for artists and designers at all levels in our studios, taught by professional artists and educators. Many families have financial barriers to the valuable enrichment that programs such as Saturday Morning Art Classes and Creative Summer Workshops offer.

April 4, 1983. The Martin Luther King Jr. Performing and Cultural Arts Complex is a historic building in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1925 as the Pythian Temple and James Pythian Theater, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places and Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 1983.
