History. The school was formed in 1987 by the amalgamation of Appleton Hall County Grammar School and Stockton Heath County High School. Appleton Hall became the new school's Lower Site, while Stockton Heath (known locally as Broomfields after the attached leisure centre) became the Upper Site. [2]
The Appleton School offers a fantastic opportunity for children and young people to learn and develop. We see ourselves as a community that nurtures individual excellence. We are a mixed fully comprehensive school for students aged 11-18 and are committed to providing the best possible foundations for adult life. Sarah Cox, BA (Hons), Headteacher.

20 de jun. de 2022 · Having largely blagged my way through Appleton Grammar School, I won a place to read law at Warwick University. Since leaving, Warwick has continued to go from strength to strength in global rankings. Notably, too, Warwick now boasts one of the top business schools in Europe and the top-ranked online MBA globally.
