Antonia Margaret Caroline Fraser (nacida Pakenham; 27 de agosto de 1932) es una historiadora anglo-irlandesa, autora de biografías y novelas detectivescas, más conocida como Lady Antonia Fraser. Es viuda de Harold Pinter, premio Nobel de Literatura de 2005; antes de la muerte de su marido, también fue conocida como Lady Antonia Pinter .
Lady Antonia Margaret Caroline Fraser, CH, DBE, FRSL ( née Pakenham; born 27 August 1932) is a British author of history, novels, biographies and detective fiction. She is the widow of the 2005 Nobel Laureate in Literature, Harold Pinter (1930–2008), and prior to his death was also known as Lady Antonia Pinter. [2] [3] [4]
Biografía de Antonia Fraser. Hija de padres nobles, su nombre era Lady Antonia Margaret Caroline Pakenham, y también escribió con el seudónimo de Antonia Pinter. Se educó en la St. Mary´s School de Ascot y en Lady Margaret Hall de Oxford. Fundó su propia editora y comenzó a publicar en 1969. Ha sido presidenta del PEN Club de Inglaterra.
Antonia Fraser is the author of many widely acclaimed historical works, including the biographies Mary, Queen of Scots (a 40th anniversary edition was published in May 2009), Cromwell: Our Chief of Men, King Charles II and The Gunpowder Plot (CWA Non-Fiction Gold Dagger; St Louis Literary Award).
