Ankety Low Day is the debut studio album by Tone Dogs, released on November 15, 1990, by C/Z.
Drummer Matt Cameron, known for his work in the alternative rock group Soundgarden, was recruited to perform on the band's 1990 debut album Ankety Low Day. The band has also performed with Fred Frith of Henry Cow and Hans Reichel.

The first drummer was Matt Cameron - he's on their first release, Ankety Low Day (originally C/Z Records, Seattle), recorded in the pre-natal days of the band. That CD was nominated to be nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Recording.
He recorded with the Tone Dogs for their debut album Ankety Low Day, which was released in 1990. Cameron also has a fondness for psychedelic garage rock, and his side projects Hater and Wellwater Conspiracy reflect this. Cameron formed Hater in 1993 with Soundgarden bassist Ben Shepherd.
