Animal Soup is an album by Simon Townshend, the younger brother of The Who 's guitarist Pete Townshend. The album was released in March 1999 and features Ben Townshend, Phil Spalding, James Hayto, Tony Lowe, Linz King among others. [1] The song "Blind As A Bat" was a song that Simon Townshend wrote when he was Six years old.

Simon Townshend (/ ˈ t aʊ n z ən d /; born 10 October 1960) is a British guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is the younger brother of the Who's guitarist Pete Townshend, and is most associated with The Who and the various side projects of its original members. Simon Townshend has also performed with numerous other acts including Pearl Jam, Dave Grohl and Jeff Beck.
19 de ene. de 2007 · The energy on Animal Soup is amazing, Simon really reaches new highs and shows his strengths with this album. All parts are strong on this album and with Simon's son Ben on drums you cant miss out. My favorite songs are Blind As a Bat and Until Tomorrow.
