Animal Logic created over 2000 individual LEGO bricks, and surfaced them with scratches, fingerprints and imperfections that made the world feel tangible, detailed and well loved. To further enhance this sense of wear and tear, macro photography of real bricks and a lot of photographic reference in different lighting conditions was done in order to develop the surfacing and texturing shaders.
