In March 2017, Halliwell presented the BBC Two documentary Geri's 90s: My Drive to Freedom as part of the BBC Music: My Generation series. In June 2017, Halliwell released a charity single, "Angels in Chains", a tribute to George Michael, to raise money for Childline.
